This is What We Believe

We believe that God created the Universe, the Earth, and us. God is ONE, living in perfect community as God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. We, like our first father Adam, have rebelled against God and His perfect and righteous rule; therefore we have brought destruction and evil into the world and into our lives. But God planned for Jesus to come to Earth as a man (but still God) to be a substitution for us, to bear the penalty for the sins of all who put their faith in Him. Jesus rose from the dead after three days and is now physically alive in Heaven. For everyone who will put their faith in Christ, He will give them eternal life; for only in relationship with Jesus can there be life. With this new life we are to serve and love God with all our heart and mind and strength; and to love people as ourselves, looking forward to the day when Jesus returns to the Earth and does away with evil, rebellion and Satan. These things and many other truths are revealed in the Holy Scriptures, which are inerrant and written by inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
